Congress of Deputies

Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar is a top search trend, against a backdrop of fresh political debate in the state. Former chief minister H D Kumaraswamy publicly praised Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, prompting speculation about motives, while the alleged irregularities around the NICE road project have again become a subject of open discussion. Shivakumar's own standing within the Congress and his long-rumoured chief ministerial ambitions keep him at the centre of Karnataka politics.
