Committee on Enforced Disappearances

The UN Committee on Enforced Disappearances has again presented its report to the United Nations General Assembly, describing a serious situation of enforced disappearances in Mexico. Human rights organisations are drawing attention to the committee's findings, which highlight the scale of the crisis and press Mexico to act. The country has tens of thousands of missing people, and rights groups have long urged stronger investigations and accountability.
