Cholendra

Nepali-language coverage is focused on claims that Cholendra, a prominent figure in Nepal's political and judicial establishment, drafted a plan to bring down the sitting government. The reporting names several major players said to be involved in the alleged power game, including Kathmandu mayor Balen Shah, KP Sharma Oli, Sher Bahadur Deuba and Rabi Lamichhane. Commentators are debating who was really part of the scheme and what it means for the country's fragile ruling coalition.
