Carlos Mureithi

A new documentary reported by Carlos Mureithi in Nairobi follows Kenyan communities demanding restitution of ancestral highlands taken during British colonial rule. Multinational tea companies continue to occupy the land, and displaced families are speaking out about the lasting harm, with one describing it as 'they raped our country'. The film shines a light on ongoing struggles for justice and land restitution decades after independence.
