Bill Findlay

Two volumes of Michel Tremblay's plays in Scots translation have been published, edited by Martin Bowman and translated by Bowman with the late Bill Findlay. The collection brings together eight of the Quebec playwright's works, rendered from Québécois French into Scots, and is being promoted to readers through booksellers. Admirers highlight the energy and versatility of the translations, which make Tremblay's drama accessible in Scotland's own tongue.
