Bandipora

Severe weather is hitting Jammu and Kashmir, with heavy rain, snowfall and hail lashing the Pir Panjal range and damaging croplands in Bandipora district. Gusty winds have accompanied the storms, prompting the administration to urge caution for residents and travellers. The NHAI has launched clearance operations on the Jammu-Srinagar highway after the bad weather disrupted the key route.
