Bakker

Motorsport is dominating headlines across several countries. Chase Briscoe took victory in the Bank of America 400 at Charlotte, with full NASCAR stage results drawing heavy attention in the US. Elsewhere, LYNX Racing won the STEM Racing World Championship in Saudi Arabia, a national first, and cyclist Manon Bakker claimed her fourth C1 cyclocross race in the United States, honouring USCX champion Tofik Beshir.

In the Netherlands, NEC Nijmegen has signed free-agent defender Bakker, who could make his debut against Ajax in their upcoming match. The club also released a pre-match preview for the Ajax fixture. Meanwhile in Japan, NEC Corporation reported higher first-half results for the fiscal year ending March 2027, with ordinary profit up 23.2 percent.
