Arcadeia

A developer has launched Arcadeia, an open-source, self-hosted media library that stands out by showing animated video previews instead of static thumbnails. The project is available on GitHub and is drawing attention from people interested in running their own home media servers, a space dominated by tools like Plex and Jellyfin. Early reactions are focused on the animated preview feature and how it compares with existing alternatives.
