A Fazenda 18, the Brazilian reality show on Record, is at the centre of a growing scandal after contestant Serginho Hondjakoff was accused of sexual harassment by fellow contestant Luiza Ambiel, with further accusations of racism also reported. A controversial embrace with contestant Ana Bruna has been widely analysed, and social media campaigns are calling for his removal from the programme. Commentators are demanding that Record take a clear position, arguing that alleged crimes should not be treated as entertainment.
