French renewable energy developer Neoen has started construction on a 122MW portfolio of solar PV projects across France. The portfolio includes agriPV installations, where panels are combined with agricultural land use, and floating photovoltaic (FPV) systems on water. The build-out adds to France's growing pipeline of dual-use and innovative solar capacity.

TrinaTracker has launched two robots, Buildex and Aurora, designed to automate construction and operations-and-maintenance work at solar photovoltaic plants. The company says the machines will speed up installation and upkeep of tracker-based PV projects. The launch highlights the growing push toward automation in the solar industry, as developers seek to cut labor costs and improve efficiency at large-scale renewable energy sites.
