Swiss voters have rejected a proposal, championed by a right-wing populist party, to toughen the country's neutrality laws. Final results from the Swiss government showed more than 70% voted against the plan, with majorities against in all 26 of the country's cantons. The outcome is a clear defeat for the far right and leaves Switzerland's long-standing neutrality policy unchanged.
