bloomscrolling

A gardener is sharing relief that this year's sunflower plant is still intact, unlike previous seasons when squirrels destroyed the blooms. The post is part of the #bloomscrolling trend, where people share photos of flowers and gardens. Others in gardening circles regularly swap tips and sympathies about keeping wildlife away from their plants.

A nature photographer shared images of a woods rose flower blooming in Irvine, California, taken on an iPhone. The post is part of a small photo-sharing trend in which people post close-up flower shots tagged with bloom-scrolling hashtags, celebrating seasonal plants and smartphone nature photography.
