Way Dynamic

The American Physical Society is highlighting work on quasicrystalline water waves, in which fluid surface waves are arranged in quasi-periodic patterns analogous to the atomic structures of quasicrystals. The demonstration extends quasicrystal physics from solid materials into fluid dynamics, offering a new way to study wave interference and symmetry in liquids.
