Video Crypt

An art installation called the Video Crypt is recreating the vanished video rental store, bringing the experience of browsing shelves of tapes back from the dead. The project taps into nostalgia for physical media and the social ritual of renting films, drawing attention from art audiences and anyone who remembers the era before streaming.
