ISO and the United Nations Development Programme have launched the world's first International Standard designed to advance action on the Sustainable Development Goals. The new standard is intended to give governments, businesses and organisations a common framework for measuring and advancing their contributions to the 2030 Agenda. Announced jointly by the two bodies, it marks the first time the SDGs have been addressed through a formal international standard.

The United Nations Development Programme is supporting efforts in Viet Nam to strengthen investigative interviewing practices based on scientific evidence. The initiative aims to move law enforcement away from confession-driven methods toward techniques that are more effective and rights-respecting, reflecting a broader international shift in policing standards and criminal justice reform.
