As October begins, listeners are marking the arrival of autumn by returning to Type O Negative's 1996 album October Rust, with fans sharing the record and greeting the month's first day. The gothic metal band, fronted by the late Peter Steele, has a long tradition of seasonal association, making the album a recurring soundtrack for the start of October.
