A black-and-white textured optical illusion is making people compare notes on which direction they perceive movement. The viewer behind the observation says the pattern initially appears to shift outward, but flips inward once they focus on sharp horizontal transitions rather than the centers. Others are being asked what they see, with responses differing, illustrating how attention shapes perception in superposition-style illusions.
