Square Robot

Square Robot has won a design award for its tank inspection robot, according to a report by Robotics & Automation News. The company builds robots that inspect storage tanks, a job traditionally done by human workers in confined and hazardous spaces. The award recognises the industrial design of the machine, which is built to operate inside tanks rather than requiring people to enter them. Further details about the awarding body or the specific model honoured were not given in the report.
