Slavutych

Air raid alerts were issued across northern Ukraine as jet-powered attack drones targeted the Kyiv and Chernihiv regions on 10 October. Two drones were detected in Slavutych, with single drones reported over Kyiv, Vyshhorod and Vasylkiv. Authorities also warned of a possible glide bomb threat against the Sumy region.

Monitoring reports say Russian forces carried out two multiple launch rocket system launches from Russia's Bryansk region towards Slavutych in northern Ukraine. Slavutych, home to workers of the Chernobyl nuclear plant, has faced repeated strikes during the war. Observers are tracking the attack as fighting continues along the Ukraine-Russia border region.

Ukraine's air alert monitors reported a jet-powered drone detected in the Chernihiv region, flying toward the city of Slavutych. The alert was graded 9/10 on the threat scale, indicating high urgency. Residents in northern Ukraine were urged to take shelter as air defence tracked the fast-moving UAV's trajectory.
