Preble County

911 emergency call services in Preble County, Ohio have been restored following an outage, according to the Dayton Daily News. The restoration means residents can once again reach emergency dispatchers by phone. Officials have not been quoted in available reporting on what caused the disruption or how long it lasted.

Preble County, Ohio, is routing its 911 emergency calls to neighboring Darke County after an internet outage disrupted local dispatch services. Officials say callers will still reach help, but the disruption has raised concern about reliance on internet-based emergency systems in rural counties.
