Playwright

Plays written by five theatre program alumni have been selected for inclusion in 'The Future is Short', a new anthology of short dramatic works. The collection highlights emerging playwrights and showcases the range of short-form theatre being produced by recent graduates, drawing attention from the theatre community and the school's arts network.

Town Hall Theatre has opened submissions for its Young Playwrights Festival, inviting young writers to submit their plays for consideration. The festival gives emerging playwrights a chance to see their work staged, and the call for entries has been picked up by regional theatre news outlets. Details on deadlines and eligibility have not been widely reported yet.
