Pentlander

Writer Magnus Linklater has described Little Sparta, the artwork-garden created by Scottish poet Ian Hamilton Finlay, as a place combining the simple and childlike with the deep and sophisticated, offering a range of ideas and intellect he calls unmatched. The tribute has been shared among literature and art readers, drawing attention to Finlay's unique fusion of poetry and landscape design in the Pentland Hills.
