Newgrounds

Newgrounds, the long-running website where independent creators share games, music, animation and art, is back in discussion among internet users. Launched in the 1990s, the site built a reputation as a home for experimental and amateur work before social media, and it continues to host community-made content largely outside mainstream platforms. Commenters appear to be revisiting its role in internet culture and its staying power as an independent hub.
