Minnesota Opera

Musicians of the Minnesota Opera have voted unanimously to authorize a strike, according to the Pioneer Press. The vote gives union leadership the ability to call a work stoppage, though it does not mean a strike will begin immediately. Such unanimous authorizations typically signal stalled contract negotiations between orchestra players and opera management over pay and working conditions.
