Maurienne

A small earthquake of magnitude around 2.4–2.5 was recorded in the Maurienne valley in Savoie, southeastern France, about 39 km southeast of Chambéry, near Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne. The tremor, logged on a Wednesday evening, caused no reported damage but drew local attention. Separately, municipal police in Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne are carrying out vehicle lighting checks until Friday.
