Maui wildfires

Two years after the Maui wildfires, Lahaina's historic Front Street remains largely deserted, with many businesses yet to reopen. Hawaii Business Magazine reports that shop owners and residents face an uncertain future as rebuilding moves slowly and questions linger over when, and in what form, the town's commercial core will return. Recovery efforts continue, but the street's revival remains far off.
