Mathematician Records

Pet Shop Boys have released an ambitious new album that pays tribute to Alan Turing, the British mathematician and WWII codebreaker. The duo frame the record as a homage to Turing's life and legacy, drawing attention to his persecution and lasting influence on computing. Coverage highlights the unusual choice of subject for a pop record and the duo's continued willingness to take on large conceptual projects late in their career.
