Gulf Coast

SpaceX carried out a test in which a Super Heavy booster performed a simulated landing burn before splashing down in the Gulf of Mexico off the Texas coast. The maneuver is part of the company's ongoing Starship development campaign, testing descent and landing procedures without returning the booster to the launch tower.
