Police forensics tools can apparently get around the iPhone's automatic inactivity reboot, the security feature Apple introduced to lock devices after periods without use, according to reporting by 404 Media. The GrayKey device used by law enforcement can extract data from phones that would otherwise relock themselves, raising fresh privacy concerns about law enforcement access to encrypted devices and the limits of Apple's protections.
