Fur Affinity

Fur Affinity, the long-running online art community focused on furry artwork, is asking its users to help fund the platform. The appeal covers the costs of keeping the site running, and members are debating whether the community-supported model can sustain a service that has survived on its own for years without paywalls.

Fur Affinity, one of the largest online art communities for furry fandom artwork, is reportedly dealing with financial difficulties, raising questions about the site's ability to keep operating. Users are expressing concern about the platform's future, discussing possible support options, and reflecting on what the loss of the long-running site would mean for the community it hosts.

An artist known as Ratte has published a new commissioned piece titled 'Sqek', created for client Walin13 on Fur Affinity, and is promoting Patreon and Ko-fi support plus open commissions, saying the income helps them afford living costs. The post has drawn modest engagement as followers view and share the new artwork.
