Full Throttle

Starlink connectivity in Ukraine has returned to normal following roughly a week of throttling that degraded the satellite internet service widely used by Ukrainian forces and civilians. The disruptions raised concerns in Ukraine about reliance on Elon Musk's SpaceX system, which has become critical battlefield and communications infrastructure since Russia's full-scale invasion.

Starlink services in Kyiv remain throttled and are not expected to run at full capacity until Saturday, despite an earlier announcement by Donald Trump that restrictions had been lifted. The apparent discrepancy between the US president's statement and the situation on the ground in Ukraine is drawing attention amid the ongoing war with Russia.
