First Friday Arts

A fatal shooting during First Friday in Las Vegas's Arts District has left the neighborhood shaken, and the monthly art celebration's future is now in question. While the district is reeling from the violence, some local business owners are calling for the event to be ended altogether, arguing it may no longer be safe or sustainable. Others in the community are still weighing the event's cultural and economic value against concerns about security.
