Boeing, fresh from building the F-47 for the US Air Force, has been selected to develop the Navy's F/A-XX sixth-generation fighter, according to Air & Space Forces Magazine. The award hands Boeing another major next-generation combat aircraft program, positioning it as the Pentagon's key fighter maker alongside Lockheed Martin and Northrop Grumman.
