Destiny 2

Destiny 2, Bungie's online sci-fi shooter, has received a new official update. Details on what the patch changes are limited so far, but the release is drawing attention from the game's community, with players checking what has been adjusted and discussing the changes online.

The EVA Destiny project has released version 2.5, an update that moves the AI beyond text and voice replies toward acting as a fully embodied digital character that responds in real time. The developers frame it as a step from static AI answers to live generative embodiment, where the character behaves and reacts as a present entity. Early reaction online is small but curious, with observers watching whether the embodied approach works in practice.
