Germany's federal statistics office Destatis will publish the preliminary September inflation rate at 2pm, with August's figure having stood at 2.9 percent. Based on regional state data, the dts news agency estimates a marked increase to a range of 3.2 to 3.4 percent, averaging 3.3 percent.
