Calexico

Comic book fans gathered in Calexico for the ninth annual IV Entertainment Convention, an event celebrating comics, pop culture and entertainment. The Imperial Valley convention has become a recurring fixture for local fans, and its ninth edition drew crowds of attendees. Organisers and visitors alike have made it one of the region's signature entertainment gatherings.

A community baby shower was held to connect parents in the Imperial Valley with local resources and support services. The event, covered by the Calexico Chronicle, aimed to help families access information on childcare, health and parenting assistance available in the region.
