Blue Star Families

Blue Star Welcome Week is underway, with communities across the United States hosting events to help military families feel at home when they relocate to a new area. Target has partnered with the nonprofit Blue Star Families to distribute 1,000 pantry boxes to military families in San Diego. The effort aims to ease food insecurity among service members and their households in the region, which hosts a large military community. The donation is part of ongoing corporate and nonprofit support programs for armed forces families.
