BeyondFest

The creature feature 'Beware Boiúna' has screened at BeyondFest 2026, drawing a review that praises it as enjoyable B-movie entertainment. The film, built around the Boiúna serpent of Brazilian folklore, is being received as a deliberately pulpy monster picture rather than a serious horror entry, with early commentary from the festival circuit framing it as a fun, self-aware throwback.
