Bethany Christian Services of Central Pennsylvania is appealing for new foster parents as part of National Adoption Month, observed each November. The organisation, which places children with families across the region, says more households are needed to care for children awaiting placement or adoption. The call highlights an ongoing shortage of foster homes in central Pennsylvania.
