BeamNG.drive

A new open-source tool lets players of the driving simulator BeamNG.drive generate maps based on real-world locations, automatically converting geographic data into drivable in-game environments. The release, known as BoxThisLap, is drawing attention from the simulation community, where fans see it as a way to recreate familiar roads and test vehicles on realistic terrain without building tracks by hand.
