Alexandre Arcady: from Algiers exile to French cinema●fausse noteGgoogleFR5001 d ago

French film director Alexandre Arcady, who left Algeria for France during the exodus of the 1960s, is the subject of a replayed France TV programme retracing his journey from exile in Algiers to a career in cinema. Arcady is known for films exploring the pied-noir experience and Jewish identity in France. Interest in his story appears tied to the broadcast of this portrait, though the exact news hook is unclear.
