ALBATROSS

Engineers have unveiled Albatross, a small robotics platform designed to be dropped from height. Instead of breaking, it tumbles like a falling leaf, automatically rights itself after landing, and then travels away across terrain. The design highlights growing interest in passive, bio-inspired locomotion for cheap, disposable robots that can be scattered into hard-to-reach areas.
