Human in the loop for agentic workflows
Pinrail is a desktop app that gives coding agents a human-in-the-loop inbox. When an agent (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, etc.) reaches a step needing approval, it runs the `pinrail` command and waits. You review it in purpose-built views (e.g., code diffs), and your accept/reject decisions and notes go back to the agent as structured Markdown or JSON. Everything stays local.
Why now: It was recently featured as a Show HN post ('a desktop inbox where coding agents wait for your review'), tapping into current interest in safer, human-supervised agentic workflows.
Who it is for: Developers who run coding agents and want structured, reviewable checkpoints instead of approving actions through chat.
