iOS 16 userland + XNU on Redmi Note 10 Pro (sweet, SM7150)
ios-sweet is an experimental port that boots Apple's open-source XNU kernel (iOS 16 era) on a Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro, running the unmodified iPhone X iOS 16.7.16 userland on top. It boots to the home screen with working touch, Settings, Control Center, and buttons — all rendered in software since there's no GPU driver. It's a hack, not a daily-driver OS, and installing it wipes Android data.
Why now: It recently reached a major milestone: booting all the way to the iOS home screen (announced 2026-10-18), and it's trending among newly starred repos for pulling off the surprising feat of running real iOS userland on non-Apple hardware.
Who it is for: Enthusiast developers and reverse-engineers who own a Redmi Note 10 Pro with an unlocked bootloader and want to tinker with iOS internals on Android hardware.
