μRepRap - A 3D printer project designed to work at the micron scale

RepRapMicron (μRepRap) is an open-source extension of the RepRap project aiming to shrink 3D printing to micron scale. It uses familiar 3D printer/CNC components (GCODE, GRBL, NEMA17 steppers) with flexure-based, 3D-printable mechanisms (MAUS and print-in-place PIKA designs), and already supports placing/resining micron-scale droplets in 2D with ~8mm range of motion.

Why now: It reached its fourth Alpha release, with functional micron-precision flexure hardware and a working <4μm resin deposition print head, and it was discussed on Hacker News.

Who it is for: Open-source hardware developers, 3D printer/CNC hobbyists, and researchers interested in micro-scale fabrication.
